Bush Administration's Obsession with Getting Saddam
The reason given for going to War with Iraq in the second Gulf War were that Iraq possessed
weapons of mass destruction that threatened USA and Europe and these claims turned out to be
unfounded! No surprise to the intelligence community! They said this much all along, and the
driving force to get Saddam came from the Bush administration alone. The intelligence was not
there to support a regime change nor to occupy a whole country and force a democracy onto
three ethnic groups of people that were doctored together into modern day Iraq at the end of
WWII. Yet still the decision to occupy Iraq was made and everyone was put on notice by
president Bush that "if you are not with us then you are against us"... questioning the
patriotism of countries and individuals alike who would rather save the expense of a war.
